Three questions from the Portugal bank, as you'll see them in the app.

1. An emergency vehicle on an urgent call, duly signalling as such, on reaching a red traffic light regulating traffic, must:

   1. Only proceed if authorised by an officer
   2. Always stop and wait for the light to turn green
   3. Pause and then proceed with caution
   4. Pass through there without any extra caution

   Article 64(2)(a) requires an emergency vehicle to pause at a red light, and it may proceed once due precautions have been taken, without waiting for the light to change.

2. How many trailers may be attached to each motor vehicle?

   1. An unlimited number, if they are light
   2. None, except with special authorisation
   3. A maximum of two trailers
   4. A maximum of one trailer

   Article 110(6) limits to a single trailer what may be attached to each motor vehicle.

3. The fines set out in the Highway Code are, as a general rule, for riders of cycles:

   1. Replaced with a simple warning
   2. Reduced by half in their limits
   3. Increased by 50%, as vulnerable users
   4. The same as those applicable to pedestrians, in every circumstance
