You stop at a stop sign and see a vehicle on the intersecting road, entering the intersection from your left. What must you do?
Show the answer
Answer: Stay stopped until it has passed and it is safe to go
Stopping at the line is only the first step. You must also let all approaching vehicles go before you move off.

A car ahead is stopped in the centre of the road, indicating right to turn. Where may you pass it?
Show the answer
Answer: On the left, if it is safe
A vehicle that is signalling to turn right from the centre of the road can be passed on its left. Crossing to the right would be dangerous and unnecessary.

When working out whether you have left enough room while passing a bicycle rider, where is the gap measured?
Show the answer
Answer: From the rider's right edge to your car's left-most point, mirror included
The gap is measured between the right-most part of the bicycle (or the rider) and the left-most part of your vehicle, and a wing mirror counts. Measuring from the middle of the car or from the bumper would leave you far too close in practice.
