On which kind of road need a driver going opposite to a stopped school bus not stop?
Show the answer
Answer: A road divided into two roadways by a space or barrier
Opposite-direction traffic need not stop where the road is split into two roadways by an intervening space or physical barrier. A center turn lane counts as that space only on roads with at least four lanes, so a three-lane road does not qualify. N.C. Gen. Stat. § 20-217(c).
